Bigger than the Watts riots of 1965? Bigger than the Los Angeles riots of 1992? Bigger than the Chicago riots of 1968?

Well...since white supremacists are now the biggest domestic terror threat, it makes sense.

I mean, shite...were you not paying attention to all the white supremacist violence last summer?

Attack where the guards removed the barricades and protesters walked in with the guards lining the walls; like walking in on a Cruise ship. Ridiculous fear mongering

Evidence here we have another poster that is not informed or framed by history. Def. calls you as the poster out here as being probably young and uniformed (were you taught History in HS)? Please state your expertise to the group.

And until that EAD until you educate yourself and stop cluttering the board and wasting time of others.

So in Joe Biden’s mind this:

Was more dangerous and a bigger attack to democracy than this:

They...fricking...yelled.

That's the entire attack. They yelled. They caused a ruckus. After being let in (most of them, anyway). That was January 6th. Not firebombing Federal courthouses, or blowing up the Boston Marathon or shooting up a recruiting station or blowing up the federal building in Oklahoma City, FFS.

If you think that January 6th, which was essentially a vocal protest that got a little out of hand, is in the same galaxy as Oklahoma City, you're dumber than I thought you were and I thought you were pretty dumb already.

Obama's good friend Bill Ayers caused way more government property and put more people in harm's way (disputed about actual fatalities, of course) than 1000 January 6th events.

Tell me which one was a direct attack on the federal government and a national democratic outcome.

The scale of the events matters less than the intentions to some people right or wrong

Oklahoma City.

(ETA: And arguably JFK, then.)

Again you're focusing on the scale of the event. Not the intent. And the fact that the Jan 6 crowd has plenty of support and sympathy makes it more problematic.

What was McVeigh's intent?

Of course it was to Dims.

Frightening Dims is more important to them than 5,000+ peasants dying on Sept. 11, 2001.

To protest the actions of the federal government. He acted alone and without sympathy after the fact

So the intent to vandalize Pelosi's office is more serious/grave than the intent to kill a few hundred federal employees and their children?

What are you even trying to argue here?

But, clearly a much, much, much, much, much bigger attack (a huge fricking bomb that destroyed a huge fricking building and killed a shite ton of folks) than the rustled jimmies of January 6th (which is the equivalent of a party guest getting drunk and you have to ask the to leave more than once)?

Wait, you said the scale of the event doesn't matter - the intent does.
