If it's anything like around here in Alabama, the maskers are still outnumbering the rest of us, even though we lifted the statewide mask mandate 2 weeks ago .
Most businesses still have their masks required signs, most businesses still require their employees to wear them

I'm in the Jxn, MS suburbs, at Krogers, it's probably still 50/50 people wearing masks. A certain demographic is still wearing masks at a 90% rate, sometimes even alone in a vehicle. Schools are still wearing masks, i'm assuming they will continue that through the school year.

Guv lifts the mask mandate but leaves it up to the discretion of local authorities or governing bodies to require it. It’s a game. They aren’t giving up
Their control that easy. That’s why all of this is a joke.

It's kinda like that here in Texas too. But the numbers of mask wearers is dwindling. Even the businesses that have their masks required signs up aren't enforcing it.

Fun fact, most of these signs reference the mandate that no longer exists.

The large majority of minimum wage workers don't give a shite, so wear or don't wear.

That's kind of like West Palm Beach. People still wear them into buildings, restaurants, bars etc. But once you're in the masks come off. But there are still people that wear them outside when there is nobody within 500 yards of them. And it's getting hot AF. I'm sure the outside mask wearing will start to subside when we have more days when it's 92 degrees here like yesterday.

I thought Mississippi lifted theirs. Was at the Gulfport outlets mall and it was masks and signs everywhere.

Honestly, I'm fine with this. If a business wants to create their own policies and enforce them, let them do it. If a customer doesn't agree with the policy of a business, no one is forcing them to go there.
