This team needs every break to go for them right now. Giving up 9-1 leads in the 8th goes beyond the “that’s baseball” spiel. I’m a Cajuns fan, and even I’m scratching my head at this loss.

I was under the impression that the team that scores more points, or “runs” as baseball enthusiasts call them, was awarded victory in the form of a “win”.
