Since when is the cdc saying wear a mask 24/7? You put it on to go in a store and you take it off when you come out
I have to wear one eight hours straight at work every day.

I was making a point about the study claiming that wearing masks for an extended period of time is detrimental to the own person’s health which is clearly not true

Masks are helping the spread of Covid and other illness. The gov't knows this. They WANT us sick.

If everyone had an N95 mask on it would probably be highly effective
Properly fitted and properly cleaned N95...sure. Instead people are wearing the same (pretty much ineffective) cloth masks daily for weeks on end. Hell, some people don’t even wear those, they wear t-shirts.
In short, why bother unless you are trying to prevent the flu?

Sounds like a hypothesis to me. Care to offer some concrete proof?

Feel free to do so. I'm not

Just because it’s hosted on that site doesn’t make it proven science, my friend.

That isn't a "study" it is crap. He did no research and simply poses a hypothesis.
He makes a big deal of a 1% drop in oxygen saturation after wearing a mask for an hour. That is laughably insignificant.

I knew it. There's no way inhaling your own carbon dioxide all day could be healthy?

Masks are to signal that we should be afraid. If we are afraid we are easy to control.
Mask wearing is for sheeple.

Is it the exact same mask simply being reused.? If so, is it being properly cleaned?
If it is a new mask, then your point is moot as it relates to most of the world.

This is truly an apples and oranges comparison. Reusing a dirty mask for days (if not longer) repeatedly cannot be a healthy thing to do. However, in order to meet the mask mandates, that is what most people actually do. As such, unless you are attempting to stop the spread of the flu, then the masks are not a viable component imho.

I wonder if the mask they provide to surgeons are the same that people buy 100 for a buck at dollar tree. I wonder if surgeons use a new mask for each case or do they use the same mask for a month?

Surgeons wear a mask so they don’t get blood and puss splattered in their face. Nothing to do with respiratory viruses.

If masks are so detrimental to our health how do surgeons operate 5 days a week for multiple hours for 30+ years without issues? Use your fricking brain and stop getting your medical advice from a barstool sports wannabe
