If it was the movies the guy with the pistol would win.

Whoa.

Two things I learned from this video
1. AR’s almost always are king
2. When you bleed from an AR bullet, you bleed a lot

The most astonishing thing to me is a guy with an AR was not a sufficient deterrent to the other guy. Imagine an unarmed victim would look like to him.

Now imagine the guy with the pistol that fired first is Alton Sterling and there isn't anyone else armed and willing to confront him.

Imagine that someone calls 911 and ask the police to respond due to a man with a gun threatening customers outside the business.

Imagine it's the 5th of July and very humid. Everyone has been drinking all day and firing off rounds/firecrackers all night.

Imagine there are 6 other priority calls for service holding also involving weapons in other areas of the city and people need assistance. There are only a handful of Uniform Police Officers working near this gas station.

Imagine the Patrol Officer who responds and arrives first has been at work since 2pm. He spent 7 hours walking a beat on the levee for overtime before his 10 hour shift even started.

Can you see him? His name is Officer Blane Salamoni.

So after the dude was down and paralyzed/legs blown to shite, the AR guy unloads about 10-12 more shots and hit nothing?

That's terrible.

Biden would be proud. Shot him right in the leg. Sign that dude up for the local police force.

Background story: When police arrived at the scene, they located an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. This man was uncooperative and refused to provide a statement about the incident. Police say their investigation indicated that this man was speaking with another man when they both retrieved their guns and started firing at each other. The other man fled the scene in a white sedan. The 18-year-old victim/suspect was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical/stable condition. Police are still investigating.

I have to give him respect for not snitching after being sprayed by an assault rifle
