1. No politician, especially at that level is squeaky clean.
2. If by chance he was it wouldn’t matter. The Dems and media have no problem making up complete false stories to derail the opposition

DeSantis is for Jeb's education, I can live with that. Florida's politics are complicated. Where does DeSantis stand on on Afghanistan and ending all the fake wars?

Also would he pick Nikki Haley, or Romney as VP? We always get strapped with a swamp VP it seems...

It’s easier to be “philosophically pure” when you’ve never really done anything outside the realm of politics. That’s not a criticism of Desantis, but I can’t say it’s not a tad bit of concern either. I’d likely vote for him over just about anybody else currently holding an office, though.

I judge Desantis on what he’s done, not what he’s said and his track record is impressive. In a world where the simplest actions to not destroy people’s lives has been foregone to keep up a political narrative designed to gradually take over total control of your freedoms, Desantis has been the rare, common sense politician that does what is best for individual freedoms and the people.
And, like Trump, he’s smarter than the left, and outmaneuvers them when they try to set him up for a fall (60 minutes hit job for example).

He won in Florida because Trump endorsed him, not the other way around. I'm sure the guy's not perfect, but if you liked how Trump ran the country you'd be a fool to vote for anybody else if he runs in 2024. I know running a state isn't the same thing as running a country, but right now he's Trump without Trump's weaknesses.

My understanding was that Trump did endorse him in the primary which pushed him ahead of the establishment favorite and leading Republican candidate at the time.
