Defining a riot is now the thing. We've seen buildings and cars burned, police assaulted, people killed and been told it's mainly peaceful protests by the media. So yes, a riot now needs to be defined by law.

It already is defined

1. Destruction of property
2. Disturbing the peace
3. Murder
4. Theft
5. Aggravated battery
6. Assault
7. Incitement to riot

All are already illegal

Just enforce the FREAKING EXISTING LAW and stop creating new ones...that just gives lawyers more and more loopholes while giving more power to the state

I’m so jealous of Florida...Ron DeSantis is going to get the endorsement of DJT and it will be glorious.

DeSantis 2024!!!!!!

The existing law made it too easy for local governments to let it all slide, and
quote:

- If you're arrested for rioting or committing a crime during a riot, no bail until your first court appearance. So no more counting on celebrities to bail you out of jail.
prevents the revolving door activist bail parties from taking place.

You are correct. Local governments need to enforce the laws that are already on the books.

In the wake of a lot of cities not enforcing the law, this anti-riot bill is refreshing.. even if it rehashes shite that is already illegal. It's sad that things have gotten so bad that a virtue signal about actually enforcing the law, is an amazing piece of news.
