I think that has more to do with Stranger Things than Drive

It's all a the same thing. People born in the '70s and '80s are the ones making all these things these days, or having kids the age that would play with He-Man and GI Joes.

That's why all those things are back on shelves.

Getting Oscar Isaac right before his ascension into top tier actor status is another awesome thing about this movie looking back at it

you don't have to scream.. and also what about the movies that took place in the 2000s & 90s that took place in the 80s.. Drive was a pimple on the butt of pop culture that caused 80s nostalgia

Dude, are you dense?

I'm not saying "Drive" caused '80s nostalgia. I'm saying it's part of a trend that going on these days of '80s nostalgia for the reason I listed.

I thought this place loved that Drive was a throw back to the 80’s?

So you’re saying the embodiment of the early 2010’s was to recreate the 80’s?

Go to the toy section at Walmart, and you’ll see “classic” toys are back...the toys ‘80s kids grew up with, which are the people with kids these days.

Nostalgia sells.

This is very true; I'm a child of the 1980s who's struggling not to buy a lot of those toys, now.

Great movie; amazing cast. Ron Pearlman, Brian Cranston, Christina Hendricks, Albert Brooks, Oscar Isaac. Nice group of 2010's allstars.

Every Drive thread gets derailed for one reason or another

Someone always mentions Thief, or Baby Driver and all discussion about Drive ends immediately

ETA Drive used to be like the ultimate litmus test for this board. It caused a lot of arguments in its heyday, and there’s still some sore factions

Drive and Baby Driver are both really good to me.

The vibe with this song and the nighttime cityscape just set the tone and it was bad arse.

There's something inside you, it's hard to explain
