I live in Mandeville and while it’s a GREAT place to raise a family, it’s clean, low crime etc, the downfall is that it’s so fricking boring.
People are just completely white bread. There is no individuality. You have hot (but souless) milfs and you have golf dads with Taylor made hats on. The teenagers are all rich little shits driving jacked up trucks. There’s no night life. Everyone is so normal it puts you to sleep, but it definitely beats living in a shite hole

I agree. It's boring but it's meant to be that way. You have the white flight bridge at your disposal if you want nightlife

The fact that a poorly run an crappy infrastructure state like Louisiana can even provide what you described is quite the accomplishment.
