There is a billboard on Airline advertising hiring at Fresh Catch Seafood.

A fricking full size billboard on Airline.

I don't doubt this story at all.

As I've seen posted several times, "if a business can't pay enough to get workers off unemployment, then they don't deserve to be in business."

I've never seen it posted by anyone who wasn't a goddamn imbecile, though.

Many of the workers that won’t return are probably the same skyscreamers on social media who want to keep everything shut down and feel “uncomfortable” going back to work. They’re not hourly concerned about health, , many are just lazy and like getting paid without having to work.

There’s a lot of corporate workers currently working from home that don’t want to go back to the office too. They too are quite loud. Most of them women

This is just totally incorrect and shows you are completely unaware of how out of control our welfare state is.

In Virginia unemployment is the equivalent to 20 an hour.

At its peak, I believe the Federal unemployment scheme put you on track to make 52k?

It’s impossible to hire low skilled labor right now - nationally.

Most every 18 wheeler trucking company is hiring. I know man that owns a lumber mill that is swamped with orders and he can’t get the workers he needs.

FIFY

Stimmy’s raised the price of labor at the bottom of the market. It’s all part of the Great Reset plan.

I don't doubt there is a shortage in the labor market for low wage jobs.

Not sure where these people are getting the money though. Once your state unemployment expires you can't get the federal stimulus either.

We had a similar situation at a local seafood restaurant in Orlando on vacation last week. Only 4 waiters were working and half the restaurant’s space was shut down (personnel shortage not Covid restrictions).

This is where you messed up. Go to a locally owned restaurant. The manager there has skin in the game and your situation is a lot less likely to happen.

Oh look, the IT gov leach knows all about restaurant staffing.

I have news for you. Restaurants are indeed struggling with staffing all across the country.

I posted about this a few months ago. I am in construction, and across the industry you cannot hire people. It is terribly depressing.

Article about resturants in the Navarre/Destin area having issues with hiring help...

Was there the last week and a half and saw it everywhere.
