When the game was in Phoenix I took my son to the Homerun derby and the game. They put on a huge MLB experience as well that attracts everyone. It’s way more than just the game. ATL is losing out on a ton of revenue.
For the record I am done with all pro sports. They can be as woke as they wish but I will not watch it.

When I was a kid before inter league play it was awesome.
We would sit in the floor with our baseball cards and trade and shite. You saw matchups that didn’t happen all the time.
Back then the home run derby was must see. It was truly the Midsummer classic.

What I love is how Georgia was the new precious child of the Democrats... for about 2 months. They got what they wanted from Georgia voters, threw them under the bus, and now they are right back to being backwards arse racist Georgia.

What? No it isn't.
It's unincorporated Cobb County.Dont care what the zip code says.I grew up in Sandy Springs and we always had an Atlanta zip but it was always part of unincorporated north Fulton until it became incorporated.
You can't be part of any unincorporated area if those boundaries don't extend to your territory.
ETA The area (Cumberland) is governed by Cobb County and it's residents vote in Cobb Co elections and go to Cobb Co/Smyrna schools.

Besides the fact that MLB acted on an outrageous politically driven lie, the point is that the late Hank Aaron was going to be honored here in Atlanta.
Also, it would have been another celebration, that being the 150th anniversary of continuous play by a particular major-league team.
That team? The Braves.
No other baseball organization has participated continuously longer than the Braves. Yet none of that mattered to the major-league offices. They just literally dumped all over their own history.

Correct. 2 extra days. But every active voter is mailed a ballot. More than 90% of ballots cast in 2020 were mailed in.

A few other Colorado voting tidbits...while they do require an ID for in person voting, they don't require a photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID are recent utility bill, bank statement, government check, or paycheck, or a copy of a birth certificate.
Water and or snacks can be handed out at voting locations but the volunteers handing out those items cannot wear campaign clothing.
Colorado drop boxes are accessible 24 hours a day, unlike Georgia.
