Why the sudden emphasis on election integrity?

Don’t get me wrong, it needs to be done. Doing nothing is not an option if there is any hope to salvage this country and restore faith in our elections
It’s also something that should have been done.... you know.... before the most important election in the history of the United States.
So my question is why now? After turning a blind eye to fraud to remove Trump what is the real motive to fix the system? Self preservation? Finally feeling the heat from their constituents? Remorse for fricking the country over?
Why does it matter when fraud will get a free pass when the next MAGA candidate comes around that doesn’t have the favor of the establishment?

Stupid post is stupid.
So we're supposed to do what exactly? Ignore that they just stole a Presidency and the Senate? Don't get me wrong, I'm OK with hauling them ALL out and hanging them and starting over at this point, but since that's not really something I want to get involved in, I think fixing the election process might be a better way to go about it.

Just to be sure, exactly who are we talking about here is placing this emphasis? You mean Republicans in general? Democrats in general? Specific state(s)?

I’m not mad that they are fixing it. I’m angry because if they gave a shite in November and the months prior, we never would be in this situation in the first place

Ok gotcha. Well, ultimately your guess is as good as mine, but I figure they're desperately trying to right the ship and redeem their failure to deliver their state to Republican Trump and failure to avert the double Senate loss to Democrats. Thereby hopefully not being forever known as the sad sacks in history who lost the state to the Democrats. They probably didn't realize the extent of damage these voting shenanigans could cause their own state in particular, and are only now awakened to it.

They didn’t care how Trump lost, they wanted him to lose. They hated him so much they thought it was an isolated incident. When Georgia lost the two Senate seats that is when they realized it was a problem they needed to address for future elections.

There was no fraud in the 2020 elections. It has been determined by the FBI, the US DOJ and then AG Bob Barr and the US Supreme Court.

And if you listen to some of these same people the Russian collusion story was true. Hunter Biden didn’t lose his laptop or work with other members of the Biden family to sell access to his then VP dad. His then VP dad was not the “Big Guy”. And that’s just a few of the lies that some of these people or people that worked in some of these agencies you mentioned tried to sell Americans on. Believe nothing you hear from these people unless the are presenting hard evidence with it and then you have to wonder if it was made up.

That's not what I see. Georgia took away signature verification and added all kinds of crap to expand fraud... Nobody is doing a damn thing about Dominion.... There is no REAL emphasis on integrity and no chance they won't leave many avenues in place to steal elections from this point forward.

The people who sent over a dozen agents to investigate a garage door pulldown and intentionally kept innocent people in prison to protect their involvement with a murderous mob leader, claim that white supremacists are the biggest threat to this country while democrats literally burn their own cities and murder people in the streets, sat on hunter's laptop for over year and defended federal agents that murdered an unarmed woman holding a baby, and refused to even hear evidence about fraud.

Because the GOPe wanted Trump gone. Then the dumbasses realized that if the democrats could cheat enough to remove the president with the most votes ever, then they wouldn't stand a chance. So they are now interested in election security so that they can continue to have a little power and get rich off the American taxpayer. It's nothing but self-preservation at this point.

However the dems were not supposed to steal the Georgia election.
Well the dems went back on the deal and stole the Georgia election.

I assume you're talking about the GA bill. Have you read it? If by "fixes" you mean "repairs" you are incorrect. If by "fixes" you mean "rigs" then you are spot on.
Have Democrats ever been caught telling the truth before? Why would they start now? They are working in conjunction with the crooked RINOs of GA to permanently rig that state's election. It seems as though they have done a good job of selling you on the idea that it actually makes it harder for people to vote. They are probably somewhere laughing at how stupid everyone is. They know you're all too lazy to read the damn thing.
They have removed voter signature verification. That is not a good thing. They have made permanent the COVID era dropboxes, they will allow any reason mail in ballots, they will extend early voting and counting of those votes.
If you have not actually read the bill, stop discussing it. All you are doing is being a parrot for the people you likely oppose. You are proving them all right because they know you will believe whatever they tell you instead of finding the information for yourselves.

I think this is it. I don’t Republicans realized the extent that Democrats can cheat with mail-in voting. They’ve been voting for some nursing home patients and intellectually disabled patients for years. Mail-in voting allowed them to do it even more in group homes and nursing homes, and also transients and the mentally ill. That is why Georgia went for Democrat this time.
