Exactly.
All the HEAVILY publicized Democrat outrage regarding the bill -
arrest of legislator knocking on Kemp’s door as the bill was signed,
MLB moving games,
Delta airlines denouncing the bill as unfair,
Biden providing comparison to Jim Crow laws just hours after the bill was passed,
Stacy Abrams saying the bill makes it harder for black and brown people to vote,
all the anger about not being able to pass out water to people waiting in line to vote -
is only for providing convincing optics to Republicans and Conservatives so they will BELIEVE the GA election integrity legislation has teeth when it does not.

The REAL fight has never been between Democrats and Republicans, Left and Right, Liberals and Conservatives, or between races.

It is and always has been between the wealthy, elite, globalist ruling classes and the rest of us here in the middle and working classes.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, we see in media and entertainment is to turn us into exhausted, unhealthy, frightened, sleepwalking servants who fight enemies that don’t exist so we’ll never recognize and fight our true enemies - Big Tech, Big Media, Big Pharma, Big Corporations, and Big Government.

quote:

Because the GOPe wanted Trump gone. Then the dumbasses realized that if the democrats could cheat enough to remove the president with the most votes ever, then they wouldn't stand a chance. So they are now interested in election security so that they can continue to have a little power and get rich off the American taxpayer.

True dat - they refuse to realize that they will be the next-to-last group eaten by this ravenous snake.

You cannot escape being destroyed until you become wholly, irrevocably, fervently, actively, involved in seeking out and destroying any individual or entity who is not equally enveloped in "the cause."

ps - definition of "the cause" is never to be completed - it sort of mutates depending on the current flavor of who is holding the temporary reins of power.

You better choose wisely in your desire to be the last one eaten.

One obvious reason is that the pandemic allowed politicians—mostly Democrats, of course—to make rapid, ad hoc, and sometimes legally questionable changes to election rules. These changes made voting easier but also made accountability harder. Serious people would want to strike the right balance between ballot access and fraud prevention.

From 2019, before the 2020 Election...

quote:

McConnell defends blocking election security bill, rejects criticism he is aiding Russia

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Monday defended his decision to block an election security bill and lashed out at critics who suggested he was helping Russia, accusing them of engaging in “modern-day McCarthyism” to “smear” his record.

quote:

The House-passed bill would authorize more than $600 million for updating voting equipment to comply with new standards between now and 2020, including requirements that voting machines produce a paper record, stay disconnected from the Internet and be produced in the United States.

One Republican, Rep. Brian Mast (Fla.), joined Democrats in backing the measure last month.

Republicans, including McConnell, have opposed the bill because it imposes federal standards on an issue traditionally handled by the states.

“I’m not going to let Democrats and their water carriers in the media use Russia’s attack on our democracy as a Trojan horse for partisan wish list items that would not actually make our elections any safer,” McConnell said. “I’m not going to do that.”

Fair point Hank, TX didn't have major issues because the executive branch didn't alter all the voting laws like was done in MI, WI, GA, etc.

The states that problems are the ones strengthening their voting laws. Which they should be.
