Pump the brakes big time.
Just because he is above average doesn't mean he is Billy Badass. Check the stats when we actually fielded teams that were very good and players who went onto the Big Leagues. He is good on this LSU team and can play 1st at a high level but is he even close to the Top 5 overall at LSU on 1st base? Hell No. Not yet, at least. Is the one of the most talented guys on this weak team? yes.

He is a very good defensive first baseman. Offensively he is good not great. Kind of a John Olerud type
