What interpretations have changed? Can you cite something specific? Happy to have that conversation

do you believe that if you were born 100 years before your were born that your beliefs would be exactly the same as they are today?

What myth? I ask this with genuine interest

Any religion or belief system, really.

Religions have stood the test of time because they allow large numbers of humans to work together productively.

Who is going to win a fight? A disjointed society of atheistic beings who don't believe in the afterlife or a society of beings united around a single religion who believe upon sacrificing their lives they will be rewarded for eternity?

The same goes for unity around country.

Did you not say we already have this within us without religion?

Now we are starting to agree on things

And I'm not surprised. However, what you see as a generic social function, I see as a deliberate attack on a holy God and his law.

there are certainly people that do not function properly in a society that is based mostly on Christian law and they are absolutely trying to tear that down

I don't deny this

Which one of God’s scriptures, laws or commandments have changed in the last 100 years?

Your question implies more about man and society than it does about God

Yes...

and it wasn't implied, it was pretty clearly stated as such

But if all people are inherently good, why try to tear down something that is good for society? Kind of a contradiction, don't you think?

Christianity is not a religion, it’s a relationship. Perhaps it’s stood the test of time because it’s founder literally created the concept of time :-)

Then your answer clearly depends on whether or not someone is following God or following society don’t you think?

Shows how little you know about history. Many of the world’s bloodiest conflicts had little to nothing to do with religion. Many times, religion is just used as excuse to justify the ruling classes wars when really they just wanted the additional lands and powers that came with the conquests.
