I see no reason NOT to expand the music curriculum beyond Mozart, but I am at a loss to understand how students can contend that musical notation (nothing more than a writing system) is “racist.”
As usual, ideologues at the fringe are usually idiots. At Oxford, perhaps “highly-intelligent idiots,” but idiots nonetheless.

Not really. Just take the sheet music of previously successful songs, copy it, change the time, and throw in a few bass line changes.
