I don’t think so.

A loss to Alabama? Probable.

A loss to one of the three: Florida, Auburn or A&M? Acceptable. The fact that all three are at home helps.

Beating all five of these teams: UCLA, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Ole Miss? Achievable.

No and in fact I think anything less than 10-2 should be considered a disappointment. The way we played at the end of the season we were a 9-3/8-4 team as it was.

12-0 isn't out of the question with this talent. It will depend how good the hires were.

Screw that. I go into every season hopeful for 15-0. I'm let down most years, but every now and then...

Anything less than 10 is going to create a lot of rumbling on O
10 is doable
But if I had to predict now it would be 9, too many unknowns with the new staff and I need to see LB and S play on defense.
I think Dline will be strong
Oline will be better but they have to run the ball much better than last season, TE is still a position that needs help and one of the RB's needs to emerge so you can run your offense without substituting

Next year could be a great year to spring board into 2022 for a title run. Kind of like 2018 was. Not an elite season, but in 2022, we could have a lot of good pieces in their final year. Johnson, Boutte, TDP, Emery, Ricks, etc.

Terrible attitude to have; to accept losing.

Auburn sucks

Florida lost their entire offense and their defense wasn’t good last year.

A&M is breaking in a new QB and were overrated as frick past year.

At LEAST 2-1 against those team.

10-2 is completely unacceptable to me. There is no way that this veteran squad that returns EVERYBODY should lose 2 games. If you want to be a big boy you have to win in years like this.

10-2 is the minimum goal every year. 9-3 is barely acceptable and not acceptable on a yearly basis. 8-4 (or 5-5) is only acceptable once a decade if that.

10-2 or better with Johnson as the starter.

8-4 with Brennan as the starter. He doesnt have the wheels to make plays with his legs which i a requirement in today's game. Burrow proved as much.

You must have not watched the first 3 games of the season to think Johnson is better than Brennan. Myles was on track to break Joey's records before he got hurt.

LSU plays 13 games per year. They should NEVER finish a full season with a single digit in the win column. PERIOD.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it?

The question isn't: Is 10-2 acceptable?

The question is: Is 10-2 possible?

100% agree with this. With the amount of talent we have coming back along with the incoming freshman there is no reason we cant go 10-2 but 11-1 or 12-0 should be the expectation
