They are Biden, and Pelosi type Catholics. CINOs.

Are they saying Mary could have said No to the Holy Spirit?
The tweet is in horrible taste, but yes, Mary could have said no, which is why she is revered as the perfect Christian. She accepted the will of God at her own sacrifice.
Yeah, that would have left a mark
“I’d like to God, but I’m gonna be too busy for that.” Maybe not!??

um, choosing to CONCEIVE and choosing to ABORT are 2 different things
Exactly! All the other discussion in this thread is useless dicta relative to the actual tweet...which is wholly illogical. No one is arguing a person shouldn't have the choice to conceive. Or is is THAT what they are arguing? That people should have the choice to conceive?

There's no such thing as Catholics for choice. If you are Catholic you are pro-life. If you are pro-choice, you are not a Catholic. It is that simple

It blows my mind that 95% of this country is not only immediately accepting and demanding of a government rushed novel vaccine with literally no testing or oversights or consequences for the vaccine companies but also giddy about getting their “vax cards” to show off.
The spirit of freedom and personal responsibility is dead in America. Completely dead. It will take decades to rot into a hellish hyperinflated poverty stricken death but we’re headed there. God help my son. He’s going to fight a battle we chose not too.

History of the Catholic Church's stance on abortion
Cliffs: The Church as been ... something less than consistent ... over the last two thousand years. As recently as 150 years ago, the Church did not ban abortion until 150 days after conception.

The Church has always opposed abortion. This goes all the way back to the Teaching of the Twelve Apostles (also known as the Didache) which dates to the first century. What hasn't been consistent is when a child within the womb becomes a child of God. This idea is known as "ensoulment," which is religious jargon for when a human being gains a soul. As science has progressed and we have learned more about what goes on in the womb prior to birth, the Church gradually moved the idea of ensoulment to the moment of conception.

Except for the fact that they're openly dissenting from Church teachings.
The correct term for someone who dissents from Catholic beliefs is "Protestant".

Cliffs: Your original article is biased, and as always with history, it isn't as clear cut as someone makes it out to be. If it was, then you'd believe wholeheartedly in other miracles spoken of, but my guess is you, nor the author, don't.
