The Rant never mixed with anything, except the 2019 LSU football team. Even that relationship got off to a rocky start.

Yes. This is America. People can voice voice anything they choose in my book. A lot of the opinions on baseball here are very weak because the overall baseball IQ on this board is low, but it doesn’t change the fact that people have the right to say it on a message board.

I believe everyone can have an opinion, but its kind of funny watching people post that really knows nothing about the game. This board or facebook really isn't the place to be if you really want to hear intelligent opinions about baseball..

Have never met Mainieri in real life in a baseball setting?
Don’t have multiple friends who’ve played for him?
Think that playing high school baseball is a prereq to being an expert on Mainieri?
I played, trained, or am friends with with multiple guys who left LSU or the team because they hated him, and I’ve seen how much of a dick Mr Fake Nice Voice is IRL. I’d say I have a better feel for the guy than 99.9% of posters on here and I think he sucks on a lot of different levels and that’s why we’re nowhere near Vanderbilt or Florida’s level right now.
I get that being the backup left fielder for 2 seasons at Class B Bunkie High School makes you an expert on why we need to keep Mainieri but people on here who have an emotional attachment to him for seemingly no reason are weird af.
LSU can and should do better, and I’d say that most of the “non-baseball guys” have better opinions on him than the guys who played baseball at some crap high school and kiss Mainieri’s arse because they think it makes them look informed
