Based on what? Completely dominated on the glass, dominated in bench scoring, and needed a career game and several huge shots to have a chance to win. It sucks, and the Tigers could have won, but this isn’t a game that was lost.

LSU needs a true PG, ball control at the end of each half cost them.

We take too many bad shots and have too many bad possessions. Bama didn’t do that and that’s the difference. They had too many run outs off of bad shots and lazy turnovers.

I think a more accurate thought is lsu got crushed on the boards and had zero bench points yet still almost won.
No way does this lsu team beat bama by 10...even if they played 10 times they would never do that.

Offensive rebounds is why we lost. 2nd chance points killed us. Our shot selection was much better than Bamas.

Cam was fouled 4 times on jumpers under the 8 minute mark and didn’t get a single call. The officiating on him during this tourney was criminal.

Bench points need next to nothing in college basketball. No one has a top 4 scoring machine like we do. In fact, Days gets his 10 points we win. frick bench points

I mean, they only had 5 turnovers today and Smart had 21 with 5 assists. We lost because of defensive rebounding issues and Days/Leblanc bringing nothing to the table on offense.

He now has a reputation for “creating contact”. Officials now know this and have now over adjusted to that and are hesitant to give him a call.

A foul is a foul period. That bum Jones gets call after call and the officials don’t overcorrect for him.

There was an especially bad no-call on a 3 with about 2 minutes left. Huge.
But, yeah, to let Alabama get that many offensive rebounds and only lose by 1? Wouldn't have predicted that.

I’m over the rebounding it’s time to accept what it is. We’re too small and we always play a big 22 feet away from the basket so unless he’s gonna put Wilkinson in or Leblanc for Hyatt it won’t change.
