When the Dims make claims of voter suppression what specifically are they talking about?

I've yet to hear a sensical explanation of exactly what the Dims are whining about when they say conservatives are suppressing Dim voters. I know Pelosi was pushing HR1 long before the Covid-19 pandemic and now Dims are trying to use the completely jacked up election of 2020 as a reason to pass HR1 legislation, they're saying mass mail in voting increases voter turnout and they claim every American should have their vote counted. So who's preventing any legal voter the right to vote? And yes, I believe people should understand it's their civic duty to go in person and vote legally with verifiable identification, who would be against that?

The question is do we really want every American to vote, particularly when one party (the Dim party) is essentially offering government giveaways and entitlements to lure voters? Seriously, as Margaret Thatcher so famously said, "Socialism is great until you run out of other peoples money." Hey, with the passage of HR1 that's exactly where we will find America in a few years when +60% of Americans are voting for that big titty mama government, we're already out of control with funny money being conjured into existence by the trillions. I guess the leftists want to finish the country off with an elaborate ballot harvesting scheme, that's really what HR1 is, a mass mail in ballot harvesting scheme and the Dims know once they get that legislation passed they're on cruise control.

In the meantime EO Joe is going to attempt to enact a EO that's going to allow ballot harvesting/mass mail in voting because they know a shite ton of Dims are unmotivated and they will not get out and vote in person but if the Dim machine can get a ballot to the door of their unmotivated constituents and allow weeks for those individuals to put down their blunt, Cheetos, Dr Pepper and Play Station they're going to get millions of votes they ordinarily wouldn't get. Are these the voters we want shaping the future of America?

Enforcement of voting laws and requiring ID is what they call suppression.

I get fighting the good fight, but at some point conservatives need to realize the way you engage the fraudulent Left is by having 10 million votes cast in the election for a senate seat in South Dakota and about 1.35 billion votes cast for president in 2024. Seriously, the Left has changed the rules, and okay - fight them on that, but don't forget to "vote" as per new rules and sit back and enjoy watching the Left/media come unhinged about all the voter fraud.

FFS if you haven’t figured out that claims of racism and voter suppression etc. are means to an end vs specific complaints that should be given credibility than you never will.

Yes. Forcing people to prove identity, or not allowing mass mail in balloting, or stopping the vote count when it’s legally supposed to be stopped, all forms of suppression.

They say republicans gerrymander more than democrats. That’s all I got. Oh, also IDs are racist!

Gerrymandering is such a bullshite excuse. The states have the obligation to determine their voting districts. Every election at every level has consequences.

They want mail in voting to stay.

w/o mail in voting, they will keep losing, as inner city peeps don't show up and vote. So they will continue losing power in Red states.

Fair elections by qualified voters is what the dems call "suppression of their voters." Suppressing fraud is suppressing a dev voting block.

Me? No. I don't WANT to see lazy, stupid or uninformed people voting.

At least I am honest about it and don't hide behind bullshite, disingenuous claims that I am some champion of the "integrity of the voting booth."

There is a big segment of the population that I don't think SHOULD be in the voting booth (about 75%, TBH). For the most part, it is the same segment that the Far Right wants to keep from voting.

Bro, I know exactly why the Dims are pushing for HR1 on the grounds their Dim constituents votes are being suppressed. Some of these same Dim loons want to drop the voting age down to 16.

There should be one day to vote, Election Day. Like it has always been. Reducing polling precincts should be for cause and should be done out in the obvious open. Not every precinct needs to stay open.

There are damned GOOD reasons to be suspicious of mail-in voting of any sort. There are LOTS of potential failure-points, outside the control of EITHER the voter OR the agency responsible for the vote.

But I have yet to see a REASONED, OBJECTIVE analysis in opposition a brief period of early voting. Certainly, neither the Constitution nor any federal statute prevents it.

Basically, the arguments all boil-down to "the folks who think like me are more-likely to go to the effort of all voting on one single day" or "it's how great-grandpappy Cletus did it."

EDIT:
Couldn't have timed that one any better. See preceding post.
