I think Otto/CelticDog was calling for a Las Vegas style buffet with waiters at each voting precinct to make sure no one dies by exposure while waiting in line.

Who are the waiters and who is at the back of the line?

Waiters will be chosen by formula that includes body fat%, muscle mass% & testosterone levels. Lines will be determined by a Royal Rumble.

Crap begets crap?

You have the right to vote for a government that offers many privileges. They shouldn't have to offer you more privileges in order to make it more convenient for you to exercise that right. If it's that important to you, put on your big boy pants, (or big girl skirt), and find a way to make it happen.

And now for the part of my post you need to see;

How far off base can you go.

That wasn't a list seeking conveniences. That was a list suggesting hinderances that have been implemented to make it more difficult to vote, and that should be resolved.

Let's evalauate the hypocrisy of the left calling conservatives conspiracy theorists:

The left claims systemic voter suppression exists (with ZERO evidence) thus justifying their new election procedures.

The left claimed Donald Trump was an illegitimate president based on the totally uproven and invalidated conspiracy theory of Trump/Russian collusion to manipulate the legitimate election results. Trump a "puppet" of Putin, golden showers, etc.

The left claims there is a nationwide, systemic conspiracy to murder innocent blacks by police and to railroad them in the judicial system. The motivation is supposedly entirely racial in nature.

The left repeatedly claims that there is a significant white supremacist and specifically Nazi threat to American democracy that exists within the conservative movement.

The left claimed CPAC deliberately shaped their stage in an ancient Germanic rune as a super secret message to all of their Nazi followers.

The left claimed the protests and subsequent riot at the Capitol was actually a premeditated coup/insurrection/etc deliberately fostered by Donald Trump to overthrow Congress and instill Donald Trump into office. Hang Pence, kidnap AOC, beat Ofc Sicknick to death with fire hydrant, etc.

These are just rattled off the top of my head. These are theories that have been and mostly STILL ARE propagated not just by leftist cranks in their masses, but by their political leadership AND their mainstream media mouthpieces.

The left are MASTERS of falsehood and hypocrisy and they are ruthless and utterly shameless in using both to achieve their political ends.

I don’t necessarily WANT every eligible voter to vote. I can admit that.

However, it is a right in this country.

I have no issue with mail in voting as long as the ballot was actually requested by the voter. No mass mail outs of ballots! Once that ballot is returned, I want signatures and registration verified.

I’d like it to be publicly announced before Election Day how many ballots were mailed out to voters.

I’d like the ability to verify online that my mailed in ballot was counted, and counted correctly.

Further, I’d like to have a deadline for sending in mail in ballots. That deadline should be at least four days prior to the election. This allows time to start counting early and helps reduce chaos on election night when precincts close.

Other rules I’d like to see....

No registration drives. Go register yourself. In person.
No registrations within seven days of an election.
And obviously, you have to be a citizen.

They say republicans gerrymander more than democrats. That’s all I got. Oh, also IDs are racist!

That just means Republicans are beating them at gerrymandering, because democrats only want to redraw lines to their benefit.

The only way to get democrats to go along with a secure election is to beat them by committing more fraud than they do. As long as they benefit from it they’ll never put a stop to it

You're whining.
Where does it end? Do you address an inconvenience (and that's what most of your list is) that only affects 10,000 people? 1,000 people? 100 people? 10 people?

It is NOT suppression. Life is full of inconveniences, even hindrances. And guess what? There's plenty to go around and quite a few people still manage to vote. You can too.

To prove it, why don't you post a reasoned, critical comment to just one of the items on my list?

I’m your Huckleberry. I’ll start at the top. School IDs. You cannot get a government issued school ID without providing some proof of identification to the school. The same identification shown to the school is what is required at the polls The only reason to advocate otherwise is because you want students who would otherwise be ineligible to vote (permanent residence in another state, or not a citizen) to vote.

Yet you call it voter suppression. This is why the OP started this thread. I appreciate you proving his point with your first example.

During the weeks long BLM protest in KC the organizers always had a "get out the vote" component to register leftist voters. Imagine how many millions of Americans across the country who ordinarily wouldn't have voted were whipped into an anti America fury by the Gaslight Media and BLM protests.

I assure you that it would be no problem, though even I would not have enough extra points to loan you and get you over the threshold.

Inconvenience? You're a fool. If they purge your name from the voter rolls using some bogus address list you can't vote.

How can you possibly be that dense?

I moved in August, registered my new address and had to vote in person with an ID. Im a white male that voted for Trump. They tried to suppress my vote too, but I still voted in this majority black democrat ran city. If i could do it, so can anyone else here.

How did "they" try to suppress your vote?
