I truly love how people keep throwing this stat out. Even if people recover, there is still a chance they could suffer complications down the road still as a result of initial contraction.

Then live in fear forever. The government could have pushed people to improve their personal health levels through better diet and excercise but that’s not what happened. The virus will do what all contagious viruses do regardless of most mitigation attempts. The data appears to bear this out regarding your masks.

I personally know 4 people who have died from COVID-19 and my 42 year old co-worker barely made it out of the hospital.
