Nah, that was a giant leap for American politics into the realm of absolute filth
If you say so. You've clearly not watched many other committee hearings in either chamber over the years. Kavanaugh was certainly raked over the coals(and I'd argue ANY Supreme Court nominee should be. It's a lifetime appointment), but his treatment wasn't anything new in that chamber, nor in the chambers on the House side of the building.

That was just politics. I'm not as much of a political junkie as I used to be, but I've watched numerous committee hearings where witnesses and/or nominees were treated much worse by members of both sides than Kavanaugh was treated.
People made up that he was secually harrasing or abusing people dude. I'm sure you'd be ok with it if someone did that to you or a loved one/friend. It's just business after all

Off the top of my head:
Clyburn
AOC
Waters
Pence
Mace
Omar

Guess that is normal for a Leftist.

What's wrong with calling them all wrong? That's if that's true, which it isn't

Sure it was. Over 200 people were arrested for violence and trespassing.

I find it odd that he cares more for the lives of politicians than he does his fellow citizens.
But then again, he does worship at the altar of government power, so I guess it's not that surprising.

Nothing. I'm just disputing the notion that that moment was the marker when politics turned ugly.

If that is the extent of what you "saw" you can't say much about the oblivious mostly peaceful protest crowd.
It was a political protest. Period.

You're kidding, right? How many others have dealt with people straight up committing perjury just to try to block them?

The lives of cops and staff members of those same politicians were in danger as well.

From what? all the weapons they had?
Go ahead and try to pass off that bullshite fire extinguisher story next.

You may be right, there's no point in arguing about it. What's indisputable is that's when it became that ugly in front of that many people.
Politocians doing that behind closed doors or to a small audience is still wrong, but weaponizing it brings it to a new level. Arguing different is disenginous.
They knew exactly what they were doing to Kavanaugh and it was ridiculous

Who committed perjury in Kavanaugh's hearing?

Let me guess, you still believe that Officer Sicknick was struck with a fire extinguisher.
