I have a follow up question - sorry for the hijack...
I have a 12 yr old Acura with 340k miles. I hope to drive it another year/50k miles. Assuming it makes it and repairs aren’t the killer, what do you do with that car at the end of its life.....don’t know if it’s even worth trying to sell.

Get what little you can for it.
My preference is to donate it. Cars for Kids is a great organization.

There are companies that will come pick up your broke down old car and give you money for it.
