Remember him well in the Cow Palace as well as Pete's Palace. He would start the Tiger Bait chant when the opposing team came out to warm up before the game started. I also remember him well as he would stand up, place his right hand over his heart when the band played Dixie. Just thinking about this brings a tear to my eyes. He may be gone, but not forgotten. RIP BIG RED, RIP.

I remember a guy and when the referee made a bad call, he would yell, “BUBBLEHEAD!, BUBBLEHEAD!, BUBBLEHEAD!”. Is that the guy! I loved that guy! He was fricking great!!!

Guys like him made Tiger Stadium a special place on Saturday nights during my early years attending games.
In fact, Dan Borne and TGBFTL are all you need today.
All this PIM BS is about to face a legal challenge that I don't think it can win.
There are enough LSU Alums, Power Brokers and Fans that want the OLD TIGER STADIUM atmosphere back, that a legal challenge is in the works. Stay Tuned........

Yes I remember his booming voice. Remember him standing outside the Tiger locker room chanting to get the players fired up before kickoff. You could hear him on a regular basis on the radio.

I remember his pre-game chant at the 1963 Cotton Bowl with Texas:
RATTLE THE CATTLE ... RATTLE THE CATTLE... RATTLE THE CATTLE.
Texas fans could not believe it.

Yes. A GREAT Tiger. Legendary.
He got under the skin of Bear Bryant by Tiger Baiting him in Tiger Stadium. The Bear had to turn around to see who it was.

Better than that cheesy piped in crappy music.
Obnoxious, Annoying and Irritating are more appropriate.
ALL the PIM is a distraction from traditional LSU football.
"Callin Baton Rouge" too. Old and worn out. Dump it entirely or move it to the opening of the Second Half.
TGBFTL should be the entire focus of Pre-Game. (In the stands and on the Field) Those 4 Notes and the anticipation of them should be the only PG build up.
BTW, that program has a drastic need for another William Swor, Nick Rouse, Frank Wickes, Linda Moorhouse "College Marching Band Nick Saban" type to elevate it back to its former greatness; only a boring shell currently......
