This club is nauseating to watch. I DVR the games and, if they win, I may watch a bit of the 2nd Half. It’s just not good fundamental basketball. I could go the local rec centers and watch this kind of basketball. A group of individual players with decent talent that play with zero cohesiveness.

No amount of energy and hustle can makeup for an upside down trapping zone that doesn’t trap. No matter how hard the guys play the defense we run has us in bad position from the time the other team possesses the ball. You’ve got a small lineup to begin with and you’ve got Smart and Cam near the basket with Watford and guys like Leblanc trying to guard ball handlers up top. No amount of hustle can overcome a setup like that.

I think the biggest statistic is assists. When we actually pass the ball, we get easy shots, and we win games. When we chunk up jump shots with a hand in our face, we lose.
The level of basketball in the SEC has risen as a whole and there are some bright head coaches in the league now. You can't win consistently with less than 10 assists as a team.

Why don’t we have an integrated team ? LSU players on the court are all one color. So many of the Top 10 & Top 25 teams are integrated. Why can J. Howard recruit very good players of all races and colors and W. Wade cannot ?

This is why you have to play defense. You can always fall back on defense when you have an off night scoring. This team refuses to play defense.
