I had it Last February, at end of the Month.

First night, i felt like i was going to die, mother of all flu's.

Woke up and felt great, but i couldn't get rid of a cough, had it for Month, and lost my voice for same period.

was weirdest sickness i ever had. On first night, i was praying for death, morning, was like ,"that's it"?

3-4 days of bad fatigue, body aches, slight headache. Slept 10 hours a night, naps during the day. Was just worn out. It literally hurt to take a shower. Walked the dog about a mile a day to keep myself moving.

Felt like dog shite for about 8-10 days. Loss of smell lasted about 3 weeks. Still don’t have it totally back 3 months later. Prob 75%. Shortness of breath lingered for 2 months. I still have to hit an inhaler every here and there.

The one symptom I rolled my eyes at before getting the virus was “fog brain” but I have to say, it’s real in my case. I’m forgetful, clumsy and can’t seem to focus. I sure hope that goes away at some point.

My sister was showing symptoms 8 weeks after first testing positive. She still has to use an inhaler that she had never had or used prior and it’s been 10 months. Different for different folks. 25 years old definitely not overweight or any other pre existing conditions.

People die of the flu each year as well. Doesn't mean millions of lives need to be ruined because a few people will have a tough time.

Not to mention the mortality rate is less than 1%. For something so deadly and terrifying, a lot of people get it and don't even know they have it. For all the shutdowns did, putting 45+ million filing for unemployment, thousands of business going bankrupt to never open again, and the trillions of dollars spent to prop up everything from the forced shutdowns.

But at least the majority of people have an excuse to cover up half their ugly face, and even though we gave up some rights, it was worth the govt protection they provided for us. /s

I had a mild case of the flu, then two weeks later, had China virus. It was a little more mild than the flu. One day of 101 degrees fever, about three days with a trace of a headache, some weird joint aches for one day, no loss of taste or smell. As I recovered I’d get short episodes of fatigue for about a week. Very mild for me. My wife was similar. We are both 58.

Started with what I thought was a sinus infection 12/28-12/31. 1/1 it hit me like a truck until about 1/9. After that another week or so of no symptoms but very weak.

Not trying to scare you, but some people are long haulers.

Not saying you're one of them, but some have had their symptoms for a very long time.

Wrong. This virus is nothing and has no lasting effects - I read it on TD.

I had headaches for four days, basically. My wife is a long hauler. Nearly one year on and she still has heart pains, fatigue and random bouts of inflammation. She stays in contact with the Covid “team” at UAB. There’s a lot we still don’t know about this disease. She asked about the vaccine and was advised not to take it. The doctor did not want to risk her body overreacting to it.

It’s been about a week now for me and it’s showing no signs of slowing down with just about every Covid symptom there is. It’s freakin brutal

Should I just go ahead and look forward to another week of this shite or how’d it go for y’all

Some never get real symptoms some deal with the stuff for months and months. Have a friend who is still struggling with the “long haul” experience

One day, with no long term issues like loss of senses. I was pretty fortunate to have caught a pretty innocuous strain.

I’m on day 7 right now. First 3 days had a temp around 100 with congestion and body aches. That’s the worst it got. Those symptoms left on Tuesday but now I can’t taste or smell. I’ve only pounded Vitamin C and D everyday for it but I’m essentially back to normal besides a little fatigue and a lingering dry cough.

I had it back in late January. Felt like a head cold for three or four days with a day and a half of low fever and that’s about it. Still haven’t gotten my sense of taste/smell back 100% though. It just kicks some people’s asses and others not so much.

All five of us in the family got it. My eldest daughter (no pics) had it the worst because of asthma. My son got lucky and showed no signs of it other than food tasting not right for a couple of days. I was in the middle on severity.

I take Zinc, D3, and Magnesium every day. I have not had it, but the wife did. She was sick as a dog for 8-10 days. But she is back to mean as hell now. (JK)
