For those of you who’ve had the China virus how long did your symptoms last?

It’s been about a week now for me and it’s showing no signs of slowing down with just about every Covid symptom there is. It’s freakin brutal

Should I just go ahead and look forward to another week of this shite or how’d it go for y’all

8-10 days but I only dealt with a constant head ache and extreme fatigue. Guess I got lucky symptom wise. Hang in there!

Not trying to scare you, but some people are long haulers.

Not saying you're one of them, but some have had their symptoms for a very long time.

Everybody's symptoms are different.

My wife had it in May and had a bad headache and basically felt like shite for 2 days. My neighbor who is 75 only felt bad for a day but was febrile on and off for 2 weeks. My father (79) only had symptoms for about 4 hours but he contracted it shortly after the time of his first vax shot so it may have helped. A paralegal (50s) at work spent 2 weeks in the hospital.

Are you taking anything?

Fever, sore throat, headache, and fatigue for the first 2-3 days. Loss of smell/taste for about 3-4 weeks. Crazy thing is every now and then I’ll get a flashback to no smell, but the longer I get from when I had it the less those flashbacks happen. Had it April last year.

Ask your Dr to give you Ivermectin or HCQ and some zinc.
Get another Dr if yours won't give you anything. This will help you get over it quicker.

3 days of headaches, bodyaches, and fever.
Then all clear.

Fevers serve a purpose. If it’s not high enough to force you to seek medical attention, stop sabotaging your immune system. Fevers slow the replication of the virus

I wouldn’t have known I had it if my wife didn’t tell me she couldn’t taste or smell anything. She never got tested but I did and it was positive. I kept waiting for symptoms but never had a single one

10 days of intense. Took a trip to the ER and received two IV medications. One for lung inflammation and another antibiotics. Knocked the fever out which is what was brutal for me. I was still fatigued, light nausea, brain fog. Felt a lot better day 16. Still feel some fatigue/weakness day 21. I still have a cough.

My brother waited too long and got double pneumonia was hours away from heading to icu and ventilator when the meds kicked in. They are not sure his lungs will heal and may have permanent lung damage. That is being monitored. I luckily never got pneumonia.

A coworker of mine passed away from covid last Tuesday. If you have heart issues it can be bad. My brother did and my coworker had heart issues. One of the questions I kept getting in ER was about my heart. Mine is fine.

Good luck. All my medical friends say don’t wait too long for help.

Never got tested, but pretty sure I had it a few weeks ago. Lost taste and smell for 5 or 6 days and had a low grade fever. Took a couple Tylenol twice a day and it helped alot. Still cant believe the world shut down for this.

You should not wait around and go to the Dr. Get on medication now before it gets bad. Some of the worst cases I know of were because they waited too long before going to the Dr.

My dad logged 76 days of getting fever spikes and bouts of fatigue. He was “sick sick” for 11 days. Taste and smell returned in 2 months.

Two days for the most part.

I exercise regularly tho and am not a fat arse. I also don’t pump medicine into my system every time I don’t feel 100% perfect.

People die of the flu each year as well. Doesn't mean millions of lives need to be ruined because a few people will have a tough time.
