If they were to put out a short 30-45 minute movie with this concept, I would totally dig it. Same for Spider-Man: Home Alone where he has to defend Avengers tower against the Sinister Six.

Would Tobey Maguire be Shadow in this scenario?

Garfield would be Sassy

Holland would be Chance

I kind of want to see that as well.

This MCU is self aware enough to have Holland and Garfield give Maguire shite for the emo dance in Spider-Man 3.

Am I the only one who doesn't care for the whole multi-/parallel universe concept? A lot of times it just seems like lazy writing. Need a version of this hero to have this particular/additional skill? Voila! Earth 63 at your service.

They have time travel so they can go back and fix that too.

With this name, I'm assuming Spidey gets trapped in the multiverse somehow. And he joins either Tobey or Garfield's earth.

If they do go in on this live action into the spiderverse deal, they gotta bring in a Miles Morales as well. Don't spoil it in the trailers, just let him appear in the movie.

Should’ve done the same as HBO

It's cool and all for us as the viewer but WB lost Christopher Nolan and likely many others over that move.

A ton of actors and directors will agree to a scale rate and then have it in their deals that they get paid based on a movie's gross. Production companies will often fully or partly fund a film for a studio and make it's money back plus profit after release. Suddenly pulling the rug out from under them and releasing a movie on streaming service at the same time it hits theaters is damn near breach of contract and is not much different than BS accounting moves studios sometimes employ to screw over people they owe money to.

As an example, pretty sure that everyone here would be fricking pissed if Microsoft hired you on a scale rate to develop a game and funded it's production with the promise of profit sharing once it hit certain sales numbers but then turned around and released the game for free on GamePass the same day it went out to stores.
