Yes. Two are shooting victims and one is a low down, good for nothing, murdering piece of black trash.

Everything else aside... I can’t believe this news website is making you watch advertisements before a shootout where people died.

Yes, go ahead and put an advertisement in front of the water-skiing squirrel. Before the gunfight?... maybe rethink f the commercials

People itt simply mistook my suggested reason as an excuse for the murderers actions. A reason gives explanation and an excuse is used to free judgment. Everyone on this board sees everything in black or white, no in between.

So 67% are just evil assholes, people who lack any semblance of a decent upbringing, lack morals, and place no value on human life.

So you accrete that he MUST have a mental issue, because nothing else explains why he would perpetrate such a heinous act. It couldn't be that he was just a shitty human being who had a pore upbringing, lacked morals, and placed no value on human life. That his (and his families) perception that all white people are evil and out to get them (see systemic racism quote) didn't play a significant role in his irrational response to a very rational request. Shitty people do shitty things all the time and mental illness is not the reason.

Reddit is a diverse platform that allows all types of thinking from both sides.I only come here for football news because it’s SEC centralized. It’s not surprising when you see SEC fans politicize mental health issues.
Everyone on here is scared of gun rights being taken away when they should be more scared of mental health issues in society today. Mental health causes more murders and suicides than people think

I’ve seen both Conservative and liberal views be allowed to coexist on Reddit. There’s no such thing as letting “liberal” views co exist on here. Mental health shouldn’t even be politicized, it’s a major problem in society for people of all political background.Reddit is a bigger community than tiger droppings which makes it impossible for group think to reign supreme when there’s so many people on the site with differing views

Well stop by and say hi to r/The_Donald . . . oh wait.

I've seen many people autobanned from subreddits due to a sub to another reddit. That's not coexistence. That's authoritarian censorship that Reddit totally allows.

Well conversations/threads aren't site-wide. They're on sub-reddits which tend to lean left/liberal (sometimes dramatically) which tends to force out conservative topics; well unless the topics are meant to mock conservatives/conservative thinking.

This isn't the SEC Rant.

How are mental health issues being politicized? Telling you that most people who commit murder are just shitty people and not mentally ill isn't associated with any political party.

quote:

Everyone on here is scared of gun rights being taken away

Who has said that? And mental illness is the list of the reasons being used to erode the 2nd Amendment.

quote:

should be more scared of mental health issues in society today

You know you can be concerned about both right. And i have yet to see a single gun owner advocate for mentally ill people to own firearms.

quote:

Mental health causes more murders

well only 33% according to your studies.

So you’re cool with riots being started in our major government institutions? Is this where you scream “antifa”? If so then you can’t be hypocritical and not point out antifa was behind BLM riots also.

It’s clear the anger towards my statement about mental health being ONE reason came from a politicized group of people who lean conservative and are scared of their gun rights being taken away. This board leans conservative, no? I’ve seen conservatives berate the idea of more mental health screenings for applying for permits. You could prevent more murders with stringent screening for mental health issues in the permit application process
