We're headed to Houston tomorrow for a doctor's visit. If we end up staying, where's the hookup place at close to Rice Village?

Woodrow's is the place, usually.

But, LSU football is 0-fer when I watch the game at Woodrow's, so the Houston Chapter voted to ban me many years ago.

I have been to Woodrows several times for LSU and Saints games and it sucks. I have tried to like it but it sucks. The beer sucks, food sucks, and the service sucks. Go else where.

If you decide to go there anyhow, stay away from the boiled seafood, it is terrible.

I go there all the time and the food is good and the beer is good. They have good crawfish and fried shrimp. You are wrong and maybe it is you who suck. Oh well, one less douchebag to deal with at a fun place.

I'm not a fan of Woodrow's either. And not just because I somehow invoke an LSU jinx when I go there.

Go down the road to Champp's in the Post Oak area north of the Galleria.

I heard a rumor that Big Woodrow's is under a new owner and the LSU Alumni Assn. doesn't have a deal there anymore. Any truth to this?

I'm not sure Houston is even out of the woods yet.
