For those disappointed with the Skyward Sword remaster, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are 100% coming this year. So that's at least one good 3D Zelda.

Andy Johnson, who writes for a publication called VGC. He was retweeted by Patrick Klepek. Great news if true. Looking at his feed, he seems to be all about Nintendo.

I won't say it's the best in the series, but TP is probably my all time favorite.

Old Nintendo, sure. I played the GC version of TP, and that came out in 2005.

Could be either one. I feel WW and TP have both been polarizing in their own ways. The sailing and wolf mechanics were hit and miss for a lot of people

It's Nintendo, I'll believe it when I see it. I don't believe BotW2 is coming on any realistic timeline until I see it

I would buy both, and like I said in the Direct thread, I have no interest in Skyward Sword, even if the new controls look solid.

I was just telling our mutual friend that I had my sister's Wii U with a copy of WW HD for 2 years....never left my closet.

WW is my favorite Zelda ever made. I don't say that flippantly as I keep them all in high regard, minus a few of them.

I'm currently about halfway through BotW and it's absolutely a contender for that title (late to the party I know). I let someone borrow my GC copy of WW years ago and never got it back. I'd love to play through it again on the Switch with my daughter along for the ride.

didn't you say you'd get a switch if/when Metroid was announced?

Yeah, but that can charge you $60 again, and most people will do it, even those who bought the Wii U version.

If this rumor is true, obviously.

I am in this boat. Pun intended.

I love OoT and MM and Link to the Past and Awakening, etc. All groundbreaking. All amazing. All legendary titles.

But for some reason there's just polish in WW that sets it apart. It doesn't do anything new, but feels completely new at the same time. The story, The Red Lion, the Fortresses.

It's a pure gaming bliss all the way through.

It's the one game that would move the needle for in terms of owning a switch. I honestly wouldn't mind one now, but I haven't traveled in some time and that's kind of the only reason I'd want one at this point.

I know it was in the early days of the internet (relatively) but wasn't there a ton of negativity pre-launch about the art style? I'm not sure of there was an art style more apt for a game than the cell shading we got with WW. Bliss is a perfect way to describe WW. The discovery of the new islands, the puzzles, the story - it all is just perfect IMO and just a beautiful game. I found no flaw in it in any way. Also my favorite Ganon fight to date but BotW might change that.

So when they port these games they don't do a remake? It won't be TP2 WW2? If not, why?
