Dudu we have a thing called Humidity and its a frickin bitch. Our boys are used to it whereas yall or you guys (not sure if you're far enough north for that) are not prepared and wearing all black I just wish yall luck on finishing with enough players on the field to make a team.

How about Tennessee? They practice in the "cool" mountain air and they came down for what was the hottest night in recent memory in Tiger Stadium. They were a terrible team that year and whipped our arse. (I know, I know. Blah, blah, blah, Katrina, wah, wah, wah)

1. We were up 21-0 at the half....arse whipping?
2. It was well documented the average weight loss PER LSU PLAYER prior to kick off was 7+ fricking pounds due to hurricane related issues.
3. UT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ASU
4. UT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ASU
5. ASU actually practices in a cooler environment
6. 75-80 vs. 93+......really? (and Iowa practiced for a WEEK under those conditions)
7. OSU was AT NIGHT under cloudy conditions with no direct sun light.

Poor memories you say.....I ask who has poor logic? you

AND, some of those kids had their family member living with them. Hell, some of those players were helping with the injured/sick in the PMac. Think before you type.

Hey, all I'm saying is, is that too much stock is put into weather.

Yeah, players will cramp like crazy, but it will be on both sides. It really doesn't matter how much you're used to it.

The bigger factor is depth and we (LSU) have more of it. That is the reason for outlasting and running away with this one, NOT the weather. Yes, the weather may play a factor, but not much of one.

80% talent
15% Depth
5% weather

Just sayin' it's a non-issue.

yes, I know that. I was there and I was wrong for typing that.

However, it seems like an excuse. There was maybe 10-15 players who had their families living with them. I just hated that LSU's excuse for that game was Katrina instead of poor play calling.

And, we conveniently used Katrina (11 weeks of playing in a row) as an excuse of getting our arse kicked agaisnt UGA.

Are they bringing in the portable outdoor showers this year? It sure helps to take a shower at halftime.

The number I am looking at is 193 yards allowed rushing per game last year - Boom!

It will be awesome and a "welcome back to college football" to see Scott run over a bitch, Keiland juke a bitch, and Trindon run by a bitch.

Welcome to the Rant.

Btw... a lot of people are worried about the safety of everyone for Saturday. The heat and the weather (Gustav) are two very big concerns.

The fact that you would pretend that wasn't an issue is truly clueless.

It has been raining here all week and has just stopped within this past hour. Not the weather I would have liked to see going into the season opener.

Man, you guys are way smarter than us! Humidity, hot temps? Hey dumbass, of the 85+ guys on the team, 5 are from the surrounding area. The rest are from eastern NC, SC, Ga and Fla. I guess it doesn't get too hot down there does it? By the way, sure it's cooler here but also higher in altitude. Meaning, better conditioning...ask anyone that. If LSU was so powerful as you say, then why didn't your coach take the high road and wear the other uni's? For a team that's going to walk all over App, y'all certainly are concerned with everything we do to prepare.
And lastly, as for that "y'all" comment you threw in, we've been saying "Y'ALL" long before "WE" meaning the original states bought your sorry asses from the French!!!!!!!!!!!!

weather is not that important. i just think it is funny to watch people from other areas come in and realize just how hot it is.

and the fact that they are going to wear black is just awsome. i can't wait to watch that.
