people can talk a lot of shite on a messageboard, but making fun of hurricane victims in the capital city of the state... well..

that's just dumb.
Hey Doc,
Your mom just called....she wants you to get off the chat-room and do your homework. While doing your 4th grade geography, you should look up the difference in "capital" and "capitol."
You are the first! A Jackass with a capital "J" ! :bird:

to the stupid fans of app state that dont represent the university by posting classless stuff:

If anyone should know about classless stupid stuff, it would be you.
Coming from the guy calling people "retarded." Nice show of sensitivity on your behalf as well. You want sensitivity for Katrina victims of which they are well noted and felt by our students and university while you threaten and insult others. You think some of us might have mentally challenged members in our families? We don't take too kindly to that as would some of your own LSU family!

"I use the duke icon to easily find my posts among thousands of LSU icons. and the D goes with my name."
You got that alright! The "D" stands for DICK!
Sir, and I'll use that term sparingly with you, are the #1 Dick on this board!
And the horse you rode in on!

God I hate grammer police. It's a god damn message board, not a college thesis.

god damn does not need to be capitalized because it is used in a profane way.
However, when looking at the first time the writer used God, he should have placed a comma behind the word. Also, his anger is noted in his second sentence. I would have used an exclamation point instead of a period.
A hurricane in the Outer Banks is nothing compared to a hurricane in the gulf.

You're right...you guys have waaaaay more trialers flying thru the air!!! :rotflmao:
Dudu we have a thing called Humidity and its a frickin bitch. Our boys are used to it whereas yall or you guys (not sure if you're far enough north for that) are not prepared and wearing all black I just wish yall luck on finishing with enough players on the field to make a team.

Man, you guys are way smarter than us! Humidity, hot temps? Hey dumbass, of the 85+ guys on the team, 5 are from the surrounding area. The rest are from eastern NC, SC, Ga and Fla. I guess it doesn't get too hot down there does it? By the way, sure it's cooler here but also higher in altitude. Meaning, better conditioning...ask anyone that. If LSU was so powerful as you say, then why didn't your coach take the high road and wear the other uni's? For a team that's going to walk all over App, y'all certainly are concerned with everything we do to prepare.
And lastly, as for that "y'all" comment you threw in, we've been saying "Y'ALL" long before "WE" meaning the original states bought your sorry asses from the French!!!!!!!!!!!! :spank:

re: HOW MUCH IS A TICKET?

Posted by pbr1893 on 8/26/08 at 9:00 pm to
For Tarholes the ticket is free. You gotta take pity on them, they don't know what good football is! Why go to the hill when you can go to the MOUNTAIN.
When is UNC going to play APP?
Ah hell! Them thar flat land boys ought be a might careful how they poke fun at us and a where we're from and all. They might wanna remember what happened to that Ned Baitey fella in Deliverance! Just sayin'. :violin: <-- that thar fella's a playin duelin' fiddles....makes me wanna cry.

"actually, jed, jethro, ellie mae, and grannie x 800 is 3200. If u wanna count the licking pot hound, then the hillbillies may bring about four thousand"

Well young fella, that's some might fine cypherin'! Carryin' that not and that double not and what have you to get all those fancy rithmatic . But I'm a figurin' that they might notta taught you that thar readin' part of the three R's down there in them thar backwoods. Because if'n you could read, you'd a seen my letters on the first page. You put them there letters together and they make WORDS! My words said I'm a figurin' 4,000 of my closest kin were comin' down off the mountain to visit y'all for a spell.
"I would expect 4,000"
Win or lose, we pride ourselves on proper talk and grace!
Hope you will one day as well! :rotflmao:

re: APP fans not so bad ?

Posted by pbr1893 on 8/26/08 at 6:51 pm to
App has three things going for them:

1. They have nothing to lose.
2. They have done it before, Michigan.
3. One team has no experienced QB.

Dude,
You could beat us by 100 points and I wouldn't care as long as that girl in your photo lets me cry on her...ahem...shoulders! And just by chance you're a she and not a he, and that's you in the pic...  !

x 800 ????

Judging by your Beverly Hillbilly's pic...
Your math is wrong. It should be "x 1000"...unless you're counting the hound dog...then your math is just about right!

we sell pbr at North Gate Tavern on Chimes.

PBR? Sweet Jesus! I'll try to get there before or after.
Unless I get arrested. (see Michigan)

re: App. State gonna bring 3,000 fans??

Posted by pbr1893 on 8/26/08 at 1:58 pm to
way way way waaaaaay more than that would make that trip...

I'm talking about Mcneese state's game against UNC this year. I believe the guy posting was a McNeese fan. I doubt they will bring more than 3,500 but I may be wrong.
McNeese would bring 5. Maybe 6. Just sayin'.

Let's see, Lake charles...130 miles or 2 hours to Baton Rouge. 5-6 thousand fans? That's it? Do you have 3,500 fans that are going to travel the same distance as us to play Carolina?
Boone...roughly 12-13 hours away. 3,500 ticket allotment sold out. (Verified just now by ASU ticket office...not to mention those who have bought tickets thru other avenues.)
I would expect 4,000- 4,400 total. JUST SAYIN'
he had the game of his life against michigan. he had a decent game running the ball. but when you cant complete 50% of your passes against georgia southern with a 2nd round draft pick, we have a problem.

Actually, Edwards didn't have the "game of his life" against Michigan. He threw 2 int's and got sacked a few times.
He was injured prior to the Michigan game in fall practice. He then missed the next few games to recuperate. Had App not given Ga southern 14 points in the first 3 minutes of the 1st quarter, it would have been a different outcome which App eventually lost as they were driving and the clock ran down.
By the way, his best performance was a 495 yard personal best against Richmond. I think Edwards is small as well, but when he moves down that field, it's scary and fun to watch at the same time.

quote:

The fact that you listed PBR probably means you'll be arrested.

Hey! I resemble that remark!
That reminds me of a run-in I had with a University of Michigan police officer last year...but that's another story.
I'm looking forward to this trip...I'm so excited I may need to go to the store and pick up some Depends to wear for the rest of the week!

I had a LSU Alum friend who mentioned the motor home parking area. How's that? As for the Mellow Mushroom...we have one in Boone as well. Great food and very laid back! I expect to get some good-fun ribbing and that's ok with me as long as some good cajun food comes along with it!

Your last ever LSU tailgate

Posted by pbr1893 on 8/26/08 at 10:14 am
Ok ,
Since App fans aren't too familiar with a proper LSU tailgate and where to soak in the best you have to offer, I ask this question.
If this was your last ever LSU tailgate, where would you spend your final saturday before the game? Bars(Pabst Blue Ribbon preferred), restaurants, streets, parking areas?
Thanks, PBR1893
Geaux Tigers and take the Charlotte Hornets with you!!!!!!

You fail. Just looking for some swagger from you guys. Too much of this lay down bullshite from you guys. Have some fun. Throw some punches.

Bobby Duval to Sean Penn in the movie "Colors"

Young bull sees a bunch of cows and says to the old bull, "let's run down there and frick a cow."
Old bull says,
"let's walk down there and frick them all!"

Our swagger will be on the field!
Our stagger will be at the tailgate!

No matter the outcome, you'll find that our APP fans will party with the best of you. Because unlike your SEC brethren and our Southern Conference brethren, you can't compare amateurs with
professionals!
