Why are you concerned what unis App decides to wear?? You almighty lsu fans sure come up with a lot of threads about stupid non football related shite, for a "gimme" game. Pretty amusing.

So we like making fun of the 'challenged'... cmon dont pretend like you have never tripped an old person walking down the street before.

:sigh:
This shite is ridiculous.
Did the hot sunny Florida weather affect Iowa?
Ooohh, I know. What about Oregon State?
This weather shite is overrated and is really a non-issue. Players will cramp and overheat from both teams. REgardless if they're used to it.

Uh, you coming to the game? If so wear a black shirt and let us know how you felt walking around in black in the hot humidity of Baton Rouge. Drink lots of water!

Major difference between playing in BR in 93 degree afternoon heat and playing at night in the rain if you want to compare Oregon State. Also, wearing black in that kind of heat (it will likely be over 100 degrees on the field ) is suicide. Black absorbs heat and white reflects it.

it could definitely be a factor in the game.
a 30 degree difference and the humidity is of importance.

yeah, It's so much cooler in Orlando.
BR
ORL
Please check your facts.

And also more humid afterwords. Shouldn't that play into your argument?

yes it will. For both teams pretty much equally.

We played them on January 1st not August 30th. Weather changes a bit in between those dates. Horrible comparison.

Sorry but you are wrong. I've been to the games you referenced. First, you are comparing Orlando weather in JANUARY to Baton Rouge weather in AUGUST. Second, it was wet and fairly cool the night of the Oregon State game. It was definitely not hot and humid. I know because I was front and center sitting in the rain for the entire game.
Baton Rouge, in August, in the afternoon in 90 plus degree (high humidity) is one of the worst environments you will ever experience. There is a reason why our team has been practicing outside in that same heat and humidity each day. My guess is that App State will be cramping like crazy Saturday.
This will only be one of many factors leading to LSU winning this running away. It is, however, a factor.

Iowa>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ASU
OSU>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ASU
Iowa was in Jan. genius.
OSU was AT NIGHT and RAINING.
4pm with a high temp of 93 degrees, 60%+ humidity, and the sunny forecast on black unis is actually an issue for the ASU players......
only 2 factors help you battling the heat:
1. your players being light in the arse.
2. your Strength coach was mentored by Moffit and I know they are conditioned (under mountain conditions).

I guess he should have done a little more research. FAIL.

No, he was just grasping for something to prove his flawed point of view. Any dumb arse knows that wearing black in the heat of August is a NO-NO. 93 degrees and high humidity in Tiger Stadium equals a Heat Index on the field of well over 100 degrees. People don't realize that the stadium holds heat just as it holds noise.

Also if I recall right, the Oregon State players started cramping in the 4th quarter of the game. And just think, it was not even that hot because the rain help cool things down.

1. The temperature difference is close to the same. Besides it touched 75-80 that day in Orlando. That is pretty hot compared to what Iowa players were practicing in.
2. It quit raining at the OSU game before the game even started. You people have poor memories. And yes it was humid. Players were cramping like crazy, i.e. Laron.
3. I'm not saying LSU won't win running away, but you people are putting too much stock into this.
How about Tennessee? They practice in the "cool" mountain air and they came down for what was the hottest night in recent memory in Tiger Stadium. They were a terrible team that year and whipped our arse. (I know, I know. Blah, blah, blah, Katrina, wah, wah, wah)
Truth is, Tennessee's practice was cut short as well. The same time as LSU's. Now, I will admit the mental anguish could've had a big effect, but they looked physically tired.
