USD is printed at will with no backing. 20-25% of circulating USD was printed in 2020.
If true, that’s a terrifying thought. Cash is a rapidly depreciating asset.

It’s absolutely true - most people don’t care to look or consider the consequences of it though.

Completely true and the main reason why real inflation is currently way higher than the dumb CPI calculation

The point is everyday people won’t use Bitcoin once fedcoin is mainstream and the government forces Bitcoin out.

Yea I don’t understand the whole “fed coin will kill bitcoin” nonsense. The whole reason people believe in bitcoin is due to its deflationary aspect and decentralization. Central bank coins will be neither.
In reality, central banks moving to a digital money is awful for the citizenry because at least now you have some level of anonymity when using cash. That gets removed when it’s a completely cashless society. And the digital money offers no benefit to the population more so than they have today.

These discussions are always hilarious on here. There are about three people on this board who understand economics, and the rest of you spew embarrassingly ignorant takes constantly.

the us Treasury already owns 70,000 bitcoin, beyond that, they'd enjoy nothing more than for cryptos, which are traceable, to explode in price so they can continue to tax the hell out of us.

Cool, so you saying inflation is 2% right now?

This is the real deal, right here.
Banker coins with open ledgers and high fees have no practical advantage over the current system. Banks love it though.

This year? At least $150,000. I think the high will be in the low $200,000's. Bull run to continue into next year. The 4 year pattern will be broken this year.

At some point people will talk alot more about buying Satoshis and less about buying Bitcoin.
Correct, because one WHOLE Bitcoin is unobtainable for the majority of the population at this time and will be more so as it goes into 6 figure range. One Bitcoun is 100 million units or Satoshis. Folks will be happy to afford 50,000 Satoshis (0.00050000 BTC) in the future, which may be worth in the thousands of dollars.

Makes me sick but I have 25+ shares. Didn’t write down the code in 2011 and Dominos didn’t really take it (only a couple in Canada). Was just trying to creatively buy a couple pizzas. Was nearly 1:1.
Yes, phone wiped too - gave to niece.
