“Throughout the effort that led to the new Pearl Milling Company name, Quaker worked with consumers, employees, external cultural and subject-matter experts, and diverse agency partners to gather broad perspectives and ensure the new brand was developed with inclusivity in mind,” the company said in a statement.

From what I heard several months ago when people were getting "riled up" about Aunt Jemima, the descendants of the lady Aunt Jemima was inspired by were pissed and thought it was stupid to erase something created in her memory.
Just shows how tone deaf so many people are and how we've created a culture of destruction rather than inclusion.
