But Log Cabin is a symbol of white European imperialism to the native Americans and the start of slavery in America. Colonialism is racist.

That logo has to be in the crosshairs because some black folks lived in log cabins once in the bad old days.

Very little of it is maple syrup these days. Mostly processed sugar suspended in a corn syrup concoction.

Northern west coast native American tribes also built log cabins. So, the syrup is at least 1/1024th Native American. That should be good to go, right?

In the movies it shows them living in teepees. I guess Hollywood got it wrong.

Seems to me that removing a label because there’s an African American on it is about as racist as you can get.

My thoughts exactly. And what stereotype was created by having her on the bottle? They can’t make things or cook? Someone explain this to me like I’m 5. Was she a slave?

When breakfast consists of smothering reheated frozen waffles in liquid sugar, I don't think it matters much if it came out of a tree or a grain.

It’s amazing what a few can do. Just think what 80 million plus could do.

So I figured I'd at this. Just happened to be at Rouses after lunch and saw these and snapped a photo...

So not only are they dropping they changing both the imagery and the brand name, they are literally phasing it out. Took her face off of it first, and did not even bother to remake the label! Just left a big ole blank spot where it had been... You can actually see an older bottle in the back left trying to peek through!
