I don't see how matthews plays anything other than a hybrid linebacker to start out.

Sounds like Florida may be one to watch for him
Ponchatoula (LA) four-star safety Jacoby Mathews continues to speak very highly of the Florida Gators early on in the 2022 cycle. Mathews was in heavy contact with the Gators before he was offered in January and he's been talking with the staff even more following the offer. Mathews was actually initiating a lot of the contact early, which shows his interest level in the program.
