It was a big moment psychologically. It was the officials basically telling the Chiefs we are going to let Brady do whatever he wants and you are going to get flagged for it. Their heads were never in the game after this.

I can't say I typically agree with many of your posts but I do here. It wasn't just the direct effect of the extra points it gave Tampa. It was indirect effect of basically telling the Chiefs that no matter what you do we are not going to let you win this game. They checked out immediately after the back to back terrible PI calls and the ridiculous unsportsmanlike conduct call.

There’s going to be a lot of people who tell their sons and grandsons that they watched Tom Brady win his 7th Super Bowl, more than even any other team. He was like a general out there. I thought it was great game planning on both sides of the ball for Bucs.
