PGA tour players that you’d think would have more career victories than they actually have

Has to be Matt Kuchar for me.
Turned pro in 2000.
Most FedEx Cup points since 2013 without winning the title.
No major wins.
9 career wins on the PGA tour.
Without looking it up, I would have thought he would be around 15-17 career wins.

Good choice. I remember in early 2000’s he was highly regarded as a rookie.

I thought Tiger would have over 100 bt now back in the early 2000s.
I'll go a bit rogue and say Dufner. 20+ years on tour (same year as Kuch), major winner, but that major accounts for 20% of his tour wins (5). Couple of top 5 US Open finishes and a high of 6 in WGR. Figure he should have at least as many wins as Kuch.

I remember him being a player you had to unlock on tiger woods 2004ish and they were saying how great he was going to be.

Fowler
Chris DiMarco
Lee Westwood on the PGA Tour. I think he has done very well on the Euro tour.
Sergio given the hype but was immediately put into mental prison because of Tiger.

Hoping Finau can win again soon. Too good not to have more wins.
Fleetwood is another one.

I started to say Adam Scott. But then I looked him up and if you count Europe, he has had way more than I thought. He has 31 professional wins.

Anything over 20 wins is quite impressive

Hate to say it, but Phil Mickelson. Guy has 45 wins and 5 majors, but he should have 70 and 10. 5 US Open Runner ups. A couple of runner ups in each of the other majors. Countless blown tour wins. Probably the most naturally gifted player in the history of the game other than maybe Byron Nelson or Sam Snead.

I was talking to someone a few months back and they were talking about who has the best gig on tour and Howell was my pick. He could literally walk into a restaurant and sit next to you and you probably wouldn’t know it and he has been a steady career guy with like 40 mil in winnings.

Answer is Koepka. Has about 3 PGA wins outside of majors. Won some in Europe though.

I thought Jon Rahm would have a Masters by now.

Tommy Fleetwood has zero wins on the PGA tour.
