I was worried I was drinking alone for a moment

This NOBF Pick is really good, I’m enjoying it as much as the 117

I was so impressed with the cab finish that I got the Pinot finish too

Epic I’ve been eyeing that one myself which means I will probably talk myself into it. How does it compare to the cab finish?

Same creamy caramel nose, palate is darker fruit like blackberry, also drinks a bit hotter than the cab, while only being 3 proof points higher but this was the neck pour so maybe it just needs to open. I’m not disappointed with the purchase, it’s a great whiskey for the price, but the cab is better.

ETA: the Pinot is actually sold out

Seelbach’s or Arlington Wine

Also P Street wines is reputable, but they up charge a lot of whiskeys.

Picked up a few bottles this week and haven’t tried the Old Ezra 7 yet. ECBP is one of my favorites so I buy it when I see it which isn’t very often.
