Governor Abbott Holds Roundtable Discussion In Odessa, Signs Executive Order To Protect Energy Industry From Federal Overreach

It sure be nice if our spineless piece of shite governor and state legislators would do something to protect the working people and companies in Louisiana.

quote:

The Governor's Executive Order directs every state agency to use all lawful powers and tools to challenge any federal action that threatens the continued strength, vitality, and independence of the energy industry. Each state agency should work to identify potential litigation, notice-and-comment opportunities, and any other means of preventing federal overreach within the law.

Wasn’t the executive order for Federal Lands? Not sure the governor outranks the president here.

Someone made a comment today about how cringey it was when people show their love for being a Texan. Does this help outsiders understand it a little better?

True. It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, though. You'll live by the EO and die by the EO.

Abbott is very likeable and compelling. He's a get it done governor. Dems will have a difficult time attacking a wheel chair bound person. He'll have that sympathy card going big time.

Side note....my daughter had a piece of artwork in his office for a year. He chose hers out of thousands of submissions. So, I can't vote against him.
