Changes are coming for the city of New Orleans. The mayor is anxious to have the street names changed.
This will be her indelible stamp on the city that she highjacked with her radical agenda.

Today will be an important vote on whether or not to change the following streets to the names listed below

What the frick is wrong with Patton or General Taylor?

ETA: a lot of those generals are World War II heroes.

They couldn’t have thought of a better name for Lee Circle than Leah Chase Circle? The cook from Dookie Chase’s? I mean she was a sweet old woman but why not put a civic leader at least.

Seems like a pain in the arse for all of the people who live on those streets to have to formally change their contact information for everything.

Was seen as a civil rights leader in the area. The restaurant was pretty important during the movement.

Also, the list posted is inaccurate.

I don't like the long arse street names. Couldn't they just use whatever the person's last name is. That way we can still have one word street names instead of 3.

Not the Patton you are thinking of

The Patton the street was named after was a former Mayor of the city.
