Idk I would say if a small business can’t afford to pay their folks 15/hr they probably shouldn’t be in business. This mostly effects large companies bottom line IMO. Which is why it is so politicized.

Why? What's magical about $15/hour that makes a business worthy or not worthy?

Why not $100/hour? If a business can only pay $15 and can't afford $100, they shouldn't be in business, right?

What about $1,000/hour?

But bigger companies can just get technology (robots) to do jobs.

You don’t think little businesses should open unless they can pay $15 bucks? They will never be able to make it big if they are forced to pay some college or high schooler that much for folding or hanging clothes at their little boutique. The skills aren’t worth 15 bucks just like flipping burgers isn’t worth 15 bucks an hour.

On the eastern Atlantic seaboard, this is 100% correct. Most of these people are left of center.

On the gulf coast, this is catastrophic to small business. Most of these people are right of center.

They are playing to the business owners in their base, and damaging those not in their base. Same as it always was, folks...

This country is done. Need proof? Read above. Zero economic sense. Anyone of sound mind who agrees that payment offered justifies their skill set is fair. That’s fricking it. Stop being retarded.

The cost of EVERY good moved and consumed on a daily basis will skyrocket while the middle class actually paying the lion's share of income taxes stays stagnant. Therefore, less spendable income is available for those that actually ignite the economy. The rich will simply replace the workers with automated systems resulting in more and more workers once injecting into the economy now are forced to suck the tit of the middle class. This results in a significant increase of governmental dependence, which is what the Marxists desire.

So yeah, no issues whatsoever driving up the costs of the single most important variable in our economy.

Like a locally owned gas station, hardware or appliance store, I’m sure having their payroll double from $100,000 to $200,000 wouldn’t be a problem. Ffs

Jesus

You’re 1 of 3 or a combination
1. Min wage worker
2. Never owned a business
3. Not in management.
