can we quit calling him Lion Ted. He is not a lion but a blow hard politician. everythign he says he is not he actually is. A lion would'nt have bent the knee to a man who called his wife ugly and insulted his father.

Ted understood exactly what he was saying and it says the most about what he thinks of his base. Once could, I think rightly, read that as Cruz thinks the audience he is seeking to reach will read "Paris" and think the Paris Climate Agreement is some francophile centric bullshite. One could certainly argue the agreement is more favorable to come countries and others but that argument is more nuanced and was not his intent.
