Hester needs to do better

I have always enjoyed listening to Hanny, think he is very very knowledgeable, entertaining, and does not have the ego most others on the station have.
I have come to the point that I change the station as soon as Hester reminds us all again that he played in the NFL. Most listeners know he was a great LSU player and went to NFL, yet he feels the need to find a way to throw that in all the time. The Great ones don’t need to brag on themselves. I understand if someone asks about NFL or if it’s relevant but the topic could be if they like Italian food or if they put white or color lights on Christmas tree and his answer will no doubt be “ well when I played for the Chargers I used white lights but then when I went to the Broncos I changed to colors, or as a fullback in San Diego I loved this little Italian restaurant. I have never made through an entire show and can count on 1 hand the number of segments I made it through without having to change channel. Today he told us he played in NFL 3 times before I could make it to radio to change. It’s a shame cuz I’m sure he is a nice guy and maybe doesn’t realize he is doing it but come on man! I really enjoy hearing Hanny but can’t put up with Hester long enough to hear him.
Am I the only one who feels this?

You better duck.. I made this point a couple weeks ago and was blasted. Hester is by far the worst non-Ott personality on that radio station.

Took you over a year to come up with that for a 1st post?

I listen from time to time. Anytime I heard him say anything about him playing in the NFL he is usually making a point. Its not worth starting a thread about it on the wrong board.

I think you are either Matt Flynn or Richard Dixon. And you are trolling Hester.

I was at the Florida-LSU game in 2007, and Hester can do no wrong in my eyes because of that one game, which I was at.
Did I mention I was at the 2007 Florida game?
