Homefront.
The final scene of the movie was filmed at the Rita bridge in Lockport. We went watch them film it when we were in high school. Was weird as hell seeing James Franco and Jason Statham in Lockport.

The building on the left is an old movie theater.
Grew up not far from there and never knew that.
Launched the boat right there a handful of times its like a 5 min ride to the lake. Then you got the annual coot shoot in lake boeuf.

Yep. Makes sense as the movie was filmed around the New Orleans area.

Wasn't the north half of La flooded during that time? Water up the highway going towards Natchitoches, Natchitoches nearly got water. People catching catfish like crazy from the ditches.

SO what the hell is the point of saying the city in the movie is Rayville, LA? Why couldn't you just say Kramer, or even Chackbay, or Thibodaux?
Rayville is nothing like where that bridge is. Rayville is more like Mississippi than it is like south of New Orleans.
Like that terrible Grand Isle movie with Nic Cage, that was filmed almost entirely in St. Francisville. Just call the damn movie St. Francisville, or film it on Grand Isle if you're going to call it Grand Isle. St. Francisville and Grand Isle are nothing alike.

North of I12 and east of I49 is more like Mississippi. Amirite?

It's because the retards who make these movies want to perpetuate the stereotype that all of Louisiana looks like a backwoods cajun swamp. Or they think Louisiana does. Probably both.

Was there a shooting in the final scene? If so, probably could have saved money and brought it to one of the bridges in Raceland instead
