I agree with everything you wrote.
But still it's difficult to understand why the #2 team in the SEC at this point in the season can't garner at least enough attention from sportswriters throughout the southeast to break the Top 25.

Well even on the post game SECNow Saturday the segment was “who will go further Alabama or Tennessee.
I get that bama beat Tennessee but otherwise
they still have a 20 pt loss to Stanford, loss to Clemson and loss to WKU. They are a very good team but there’s no reason that they should be set apart from LSU.
